Contact us, and we’ll watch your account grow.  Fortress will send you some documents to fill out, and we’ll send regular reports of your system out to our investor networks.  Depending on how you want to be compensated, we’ll take the appropriate actions.  We’ll do all the compliance, marketing, brokerage – you do the trading.

In most cases, you can be paid up to 10% of the profits of the strategy.*  On accounts greater than $1 Million this can be a substantial amount of money.  For example, if your strategy is trading $10 Million and in one month makes a 5% return, the total fee paid to you would be $50,000.  *Up to 10% means it can be less, or greater – it depends on the circumstances, on the returns of the system, and the clearing broker.  Rest assured that traders with successful systems are compensated accordingly, as it behooves investors to incentivize  them to continue to produce good results.

We ask that traders who want to participate in this program invest a minimum of $10,000 in the tracking account.  Demo results, backtesting, or other hypothetical results are good tools for system development but WILL NOT BE SHOWN TO INVESTORS as they are immaterial to investors who have real money (and not hypothetical money).

Magic FX Strategy

Magic FX Strategy is an Algorithmic Currency Investment strategy based on the Fibonacci number or ‘magic’ number – 1.618 as seen in nature, the markets, and science. Using a simple logic for trade entry and risk management, the variables that define position size, entry and exit timing, and other factors; are optimized in real time via supercomputer array. The constant process of optimization means that the strategy is continually in tune with current market conditions. This process also involves the pair selection; the most profitable pairs are traded in basket trading style. While there has never been a realized loss on this strategy, it can have a floating loss as the basket manages volatility. During Jan 2015 the SNB revalued the Swiss Franc and the strategy ended the month positively. In such extreme case, a 20% equity stop is used, although we believe this to be realized is extremely unlikely. Due to the size of the FX market and this style of strategy (low frequency) there is no theoretical maximum or liquidity limitations to this strategy. US ECP Only $1 Million Min. / Non-US $20,000 Minimum, ATC Brokers UK (FCA FRN 591361).

*This account is a live account, with real money – traded as a ‘master account.’  That means it does not reflect all the sub accounts, individual client accounts, and other accounts tied to it.  Generally, results are identical but can be different for example due to deposits, withdrawals, and other factors.

The strategy currently has a 4+ year track record with no losing month.**  Fortress charges a 30% performance fee only – based on a high watermark.  No other fees.  It is available for non-US investors and ECP (Eligible Contract Participants) in the USA only.  For USA ECP clients the minimum investment is $1,000,000.  We welcome Pension Funds, Hedge Funds, and other institutions looking for a consistent strategy with an above average risk profile.  We recommend a $20,000 minimum investment, due to the low and consistent return profile (with a $20,000 investment, the average return would have been $300 before fees).

**There are periods in the strategy where it will have ‘floating drawdowns’ for days or in the worst case weeks.  In every case, these drawdowns have realized in profit.  That doesn’t mean it will always happen, one day – the strategy could lose.  But in 4 years, it didn’t. 

Due to the consistent performance of this strategy, we believe it is perfect for hedge funds, pension funds, investee pools, retirement benefit plans, CPOs (FoF especially), corporate treasury management units (looking for alternative to holding USD in decline as accounting currency).

Vortex Signal System

The Vortex Signal System is a highly accurate signal generating system.  It’s an independent software application that installs in the Microsoft Windows environment.  As such, it’s not connected to any platform.  So you can trade it anywhere Forex is traded; use it on ETFs, on your Fortress – Oanda account, or at TD Ameritrade.  It’s a highly accurate signal system not connected to any platform, which is valuable (most algorithms are either FIX API or Platform Specific.  This can be executed on a trade desk).  This system is perfect for prop shops, hedge funds, trade desks, treasury management desks looking for good entries, corporate treasury management desks, equity day-traders (you can use this to trade ETFs).

Vortex generates trades from aud/jpy, aud/usd, cad/jpy, chf/jpy, eur/jpy, eur/usd, gbp/jpy, gbp/usd, nzd/usd, usd/cad, usd/chf, usd/jpy. Usually 100+ trades a month in total. All currency pairs except gbp/jpy and gbp/usd have 30 pip stops and 20 pip limits. Gbp/jpy and gbp/usd have 50 pip stops and 30 pip limits. Move each stop to -15 pips once profitable +15 pips.

M3 HFT Strategy

M3 HFT Strategy is available as a managed account to QEP/ECP investors, including non-US citizens, and US ECPs (Pension Funds, Hedge Funds, Ultra High Net Worth Individuals, Banks, Insurance Companies, and others.)

Strategy Description: The fully automated trading system uses artificial intelligence to manage capital in up to 7 major currency pairs. The system assesses market conditions and engages one or more trading strategies.There are dozens of trading strategies the system may choose from. It runs 24 hours/day and 5.5 days per week. It trades through news but has a very effective volatility filter that stops trading under excessive volatility spikes. The strategy trades about 100 times per day.
